Instructions
  1. Add Water to the Pot and When it starts Boiling add Moong Dal.
  2. Then add the Rice and cook fully.
  3. Rice Should be Cooked Completely. Then add in Jaggery and Cook well.
  4. Add in Crushed Cardamom and Ghee.
  5. Then add in some Grated Coconut. Finally add in the Cashew Nuts and Raisins Roasted in ghee.
  6. Tasty Pongal Is Ready To Be Served.
Recipe Notes
  • Adding Grated Coconut Gives Extra Flavour to Pongal. You Can also Skip this Step.
  • Rice Should Be Cooked Fully. After adding Jaggery Rice Will Not Cook.
