- 1 Cup Garlic Cloves
- 3/4 Cup Pearl onion
- 50 grms Tamarind Golf ball size
- 5 tspn Sesame Oil
- 2 tspn Sambar powder
- 1/2 tspn Turmeric Powder
- 1 tspn Mustard seeds & Urad Dal
- 3/4 tspn Fenugreek seeds (vendhayam)
- 1 tspn Cumin Seeds
- Curry & Coriander leaves, Salt needed

- Soak tamarind in some water for 10 mins. Heat 5 tbsp of oil in a kadai, add in Mustard seeds and urad dal and When it splutters add in Fenugreek Seeds, Cumin Seeds and curry leaves and saute well.
- Add in garlic and saute for 3 minutes, Then add in Pearl onions and Saute till Garlic turns brown in colour.
- Now add in Turmeric powder, Sambar powder and required salt and saute well. Then add in the tamarind water and cook till oil seperates from Gravy.
- Check if Garlic and onion is mushy and Garnish with coriander Leaves.
- Tasty Garlic curry is ready to be served with Rice.
- Use only sesame oil for best results.
- If you don like more tamarind in Gravy you can also add tomatoes and reduce tamarind.
- Add More garlic and less Shallots for Nice flavor.
- Also use lots of curry leaves for nice flavor.
- Make this Monthly once for good digestion.
