For Marinating
- 1/2 Kg Chicken
- 2 Tbsp Curd
- 1 Tbsp Chilli Powder
- 1/2 Tbsp Pepper Powder
For Gravy
- 2 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 4 Nos Green Chilies
- 6 Nos Shallots (Small Onion)
- 1 No Tomato
- 1 Tbsp Mustard
- 1 Tbsp Fennel Seeds
- 1 Tbsp Garam Masala
- Few Curry & Coriander Leaves
- Salt to taste

Instructions
- Marinate chicken with curd, Chilly powder, pepper powder and salt and set aside for 1-3 hrs or leave it overnight.
- Heat oil in a pan add Mustard and Fennel seeds.
- Add shallots, Green Chillies and curry leaves and saute till transparent,
- Add Ginger Garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes off.
- Add marinated chicken ,cover and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add finely chopped tomatoes and saute for 5 minutes.
- Finally add Garam masala and saute till raw smell goes off and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice.
Recipe Notes
Marinating Chicken makes it soft and tender. If you are out of time you can also skip this step.
Instead of Garam masala you can also add chicken masala.
