Dates and nuts laddu /Dry Fruit and Nuts laddu is naturally sweet and very healthy full of nutrition, You can try this ladoo with any of your favorite combinations. Dates and raisins are used as sweetener, so there is no need to add sugar / jaggery.

It is more self-satisfying that it is a sugar-less sweet! it is not only good for pregnant women it is good for every one especially for kids. This time I used imported special kind of sticky dates and prepared this dates ladoo!!Of-course can be done with whichever dates that you get or use at home, Prepare and Enjoy this guilt free snack with your family on this Christmas!!!

Instructions
  1. Heat butter in a pan,add poppy seeds and pumpkin seeds and roast for about 3 Minutes in a low heat till you get nice aroma.Transfer to a bowl and keep aside.
  2. Again heat butter in the same pan add finely chopped cashew nuts and fry for a minute.
  3. Then add finely chopped badam and pistachio and saute in a low heat till you get a nice aroma.
  4. Add raisins and powdered cardamon and saute till the raisins bubbles up. Finally switch off the heat and add the roasted poppy and pumpkin seeds.
  5. Chop the dates finely and add it to a blender and grind it to a coarse paste.
  6. Transfer blended dates to a bowl,add sauted nuts and raw honey, Knead dates and nuts well to form a ball.
  7. Grease your hands with some ghee and take small portion from the mixture.
  8. Form to a round ball and use both hands palm to make a soft round.
  9. Tasty Dates and nuts ladoo is ready to serve.
Recipe Notes

Nuts are your choice,you can add or omit it according to your option.

These laddus make great gifts for any festive seasons.

You can also store this in a air tight container in fridge for about 1 or 2 weeks.

If your dates are so soft you can use hands to knead that.

You can also blend the nuts in a blender,not so powdery it should be chewy.
